Odd Questions And Odd Answers: Guest Post By Squimp

Here are Squimp's answers to the odd questions!  Thanks for playing Squimp!  And happy birthday to you too.  Seriously, it's every ones birthday.  I'm not just making this up.

1. What book/movie character represents you when you are acting evil?
When I am being Evil, I act like Lucy from Peanuts. Not really the movie, but more the sunday strip comics. I always act like when lucy is holding the football for charlie brown, and right when he kicks- she yanks it out from under him.
2. You have two months to live. What do you do in those two months?
If I had 2 months left to live, I go to a comic con, and start setting up life like scenarios from different British tv shows. For example if it where doctor who, I would steal a microphone and start tapping it 4 times over and over. Then I would play with the light switch, and yell out “don't blink!…Seriously stop blinking!!” For the sherlock fans I would sneak up behind them and say, “did you miss me?”.
3. What is that thing you always have with you, that no one else thinks is a necessity but you feel lost without?
My brain. I just hate it when I leave my brain at home. I literally cannot function!! Its so hard when all I can think about are like, what time is lunch? or contemplate how weird my face looks from the side.
4. You are lost alone in the wilderness, and you know that this forest is infested with cannibals. Who would you be most happy to have come and save you?
If I was stuck in the woods with cannibals I would want Miss piggy to save me. She can scare anyone away. And the canabals wouldn't eat her, they would just get really annoyed and leave.
5. What smell or sound makes you happy?
The smell that makes me happy is the smell of this little pillow that I have had since i was a baby. I don't know why but when I sleep with it I have the most awesome dreams….
6. You have to choose between dancing alone on stage in front of hundreds of people, or start a conversation with your crush. Which do you choose?
Dancing. I think that dancing on a stage alone wouldn't be that scary. When I perform I’ll be nervous for a little while, but then ill just get lost in whatever I am doing. And honestly when I perform, the more people there are, the less nervous I am. So bring it!
7. You suddenly find yourself tragically without a family and without a home. If you could decide, who would you choose to adopt you as your new family? Or would you want to live alone?
I always thought that I would come live with Dr Elemis Pott. Because I mean her room Is big enough and you know, she already has a ton of siblings. Plus then we could make cheesy movies 24/7!!!
8. What smell or sound makes you sad?
The sound of crying makes me sad. Whenever I hear or see someone crying my brain is automatically like, “She’s crying….should we be crying?….I think we should be crying…. Open up the flood gates boys!!!!”
9. What movie/book character represents you when you are being virtuous and heroic?
When I am being super heroic I think that I am most like the prince from enchanted. Because really when I think I am being super heroic, I am really just being super dumb and oblivious.
10. Is there something dorky that you think is cool and wish was socially acceptable?
YES. I wish that I could go everywhere dressed like a Wesley. Seriously how cool would that be?!?!?
11. What’s better, a Chick-fill-a sandwich, or a fancy green nutritious lunch?
Chick-fill-a. Always.

12. If you could make up how the rest of your year would go, how would it go?
I would move to a big 20 acre ranch, get horses, and get one of these little attic style bedrooms with a door disguised as a bookshelf.
13. If you could choose your death, how would you die?
I would like to die saving someones life. It just seems like the best way to go.

14. How are you?
Physically i am fine. But mentally and emotionally I am almost always a mess. I guess I would say that I generally feel like a tornado. Just a harmless cloud one minute then I could level a city the next.
15. You were selected to fight in the Hunger Games. What do you do? Do you try to win?
Well my weapon would be a bow and arrow (since apparently they cant have AR15’s) but I would try my best to hide out the entire time.

16. Why are you still reading this?
Why am I still reading this……Why am I still reading this? I don't know. I guess I need to have a talk with my brain.

17. As a school project, you are given a piece of paper, a pen, a dark room, and fifteen minutes to write anything you want. What do you write?
I would probably draw. Then invent a cartoon character….or three. Then write a lame short story about aliens that are attracted to potatoes. There will probably be a weird grandpa in there somewhere.

Odd Questions and Odd Answers: Guest Post by Nurse ME

Here is a guest post from ME!  Thanks for playing ME!  And happy birthday to you too.

Question 1. What book/movie character represents you when you are acting evil?
I don't think I act "evil" all that often (though you might need to ask my family), however, when I do, it's probably somewhat like Drusilla and Anastasia with Cinderella.

Question 2. You have two months to live. What do you do in those two months?

Wow... that's deep. I'm sure a mix of contrasting emotions would be running through my head: Happiness: Hey, I'm going home! And Sadness: I don't want to leave my friends and family!- Which would probably lead me to devoting more and more time to God, in prayer and in His Word, and more and more time to my friends and family.

Question 3. What is that thing you always have with you, that no one else thinks is a necessity but you feel lost without?

To be perfectly honest- probably myself. I mean, I DO always have to bring myself with me, and yet some people may think that I'm not necessary to bring along at all... :D

Question 4. You are lost alone in the wilderness, and you know that this forest is infested with cannibals. Who would you be most happy to have come and save you?

Anyone from a handsome prince riding a royal-bred steed to an old hobo with no teeth and fleas- at this moment I don't think I could care less. Just please save me!!!!

Question 5. What smell or sound makes you happy?

I'm almost sure that nothing could possibly make me happier than the soothing sound of a tuned cello.

Question 6. You have to choose between dancing alone on stage in front of hundreds of people, or start a conversation with your crush. Which do you choose? And why?

I choose dancing alone on a stage in front of hundreds of people. Why? Well, for one, it'd probably be even more awkward talking to someone who doesn't exist. Besides, I'd probably embarrass the hundreds of people watching me more than myself. XD

Question 7. You suddenly find yourself tragically without a family and without a home. If you could decide, who would you choose to adopt you as your new family? Or would you want to live alone?

Answer: Wow. That's heartbreaking. But if I have to answer... (Looks up beamingly) We could be sisters!!!!!

Question 8. What smell or sound makes you sad?

An UN-tuned cello.

Question 9. What movie/book character represents you when you are being virtuous and heroic?

In my most virtuous and heroic moments I likely most resemble Wesley when he jumps in to the sand pit at the Fire Swamp to save Buttercup. ... :D

Question 10. Is there something dorky that you think is cool and wish was socially acceptable?

At the moment, I can't think of anything in particular- but I'm sure I do.

Question 11. What's better, a Chick-fill-a sandwich, or a fancy green nutritious lunch?

Chick-fill-a sandwiches are amazing. I agree with you 100%! (But veggies are great, too!)

Question 12. If you could make up how the rest of your year would go, how would it go?

Well- Probably less cold and more sunshine, less school yet better grades, more health and less illness, plenty of music and games, more bonding time with my cello, and plenty of time to spend with my family and with my friends.

Question 13. If you could choose your death, how would you die?

For Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Even if that means dying a martyr.

Question 14. How are you?

Right now, I'd say I'm feeling very blessed. Even though I'm quite busy just now and rather tired, God's blessed me with joy and peace.

Question 16. Why are you still reading this?

Why am I still reading this? Well, I can tell you right now- I think this is fun. As much as I may have better things to do, I think answering your odd questions is actually quite worth my time. :D

Question 17. As a school project, you are given a piece of paper, a pen, a dark room, and fifteen minutes to write anything you want. What do you write?

My will.

Odd Questions and Odd Answers, Guest Post by GMC

Here are GMC's answers to the odd questions!  (And happy birthday by the way).

Question 1. What book/movie character represents you when you are acting evil?

Anybody watch Lilo and Stitch? It’s rare that I act evil but when I do, I act like Stitch (little blue alien) when he is all nice to Lilo (little Hawaiian girl) and teases Jumba (big alien).
The scene I just mentioned:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-8moBhl6N4

Question 2. You have two months to live. What do you do in those two months?

That’s happy and sad… I would pray a lot. I would try to help the people around me coup. Probably try not to think about it too much…

Question 3. What is that thing you always have with you, that no one else thinks is a necessity but you feel lost without?

I always have my camera with me, even though I never use it…

Question 4. You are lost alone in the wilderness, and you know that this forest is infested with cannibals. Who would you be most happy to have come and save you?

I’d be happy with just about any friend! Whether someone comes and we have a fun time fighting cannibals or someone comes and we have a fun time running from cannibals.

Question 5. What smell or sound makes you happy?

I’m always happy hearing other people’s laughs!

Question 6. You have to choose between dancing alone on stage in front of hundreds of people, or start a conversation with your crush. Which do you choose?

I would start a conversation with my crush! Why wouldn’t you want to talk to the person you like? ;P Dancing alone on stage sounds fun too…

Question 7. You suddenly find yourself tragically without a family and without a home. If you could decide, who would you choose to adopt you as your new family? Or would you want to live alone?

My family is gone! That’s terrible! I would probably choose a family that let me finish my college degree with them… But since that’s the most boring answer I can think of… It would be fun to choose a really rich person and depending on the type of tragic death, avenge my family, if necessary.

Question 8. What smell or sound makes you sad?

The sound of people who are sad. Especially if I care about that person. (I don’t care if it’s cliché ;P)

Question 9. What movie/book character represents you when you are being virtuous and heroic?

What about the emperor’s new groove? Anybody remember watching that? I can be a lot like Pacha (the dude in the green poncho) when I’m being good/heroic.
Rescue scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mB-YewEqcY

Question 10. Is there something dorky that you think is cool and wish was socially acceptable?

Hahahahahahahahahha! I like a bunch of dorky things (I’m not a fan of the definition of dorky though, so I’m using my own!)! I like it even more when other people do dorky things! It’s a bunch of fun!

Question 11. What's better, a Chick-fill-a sandwich, or a fancy green nutritious lunch?

Chick-fil-a is delicious, but it depends on the level of fancy…

Question 12. If you could make up how the rest of your year would go, how would it go?

Ouch! It’s questions like this that remind me of all the me that I’m not! Something along the lines of perfect grades, great health, good times with friends and family, winning the lottery, you know the simple things…

Question 13. If you could choose your death, how would you die?
Saving a loved one! (or loved many people…)

Question 14. How are you?

Really busy! Tired and happy! If you are expecting a metaphor I would probably say I feel like a crack in a frozen lake. Not the lake that’s actually cold and cracking, just the splintering crack, travelling forward with spontaneity and force without any direction but an end in mind.

Question 15. You were selected to fight in the Hunger Games. What do you do? Do you try to win?

I’ve answered this question before… (in a bunch of detail I might add…) What do I do? Pray and not kill anyone. Try to find food so I don’t die a miserable death… Most likely stumble into a trap and die miserably…

Question 16. Why are you still reading this?

You’re right! There are much better ways to spend my time! I should be studying, sleeping, learning a new language, learning the piano, memorizing lines for a play, and reading the Constitution! Oh! And you’re right! I should exercise more! Push-ups are great exercise…..maybe later…..maybe…..

Question 17. As a school project, you are given a piece of paper, a pen, a dark room, and fifteen minutes to write anything you want. What do you write?

Scribbles, scribbles and more scribbles. I don’t know what kind of super power a person needs to be able to write in the dark… probably electric eyeballs.

Odd Questions And Odd Answers

I like questions.  So because you've decided to take the time to suffer my blog,  here are a list of odd questions for you to answer, with explanations on how to answer them.  The goal of this game is to come up with honest, but odd answers.  If your answer is typical and everyone else would say the same thing, change it up a little.  Be creative.
Example: "What's your favorite dessert?"  you might answer: "Ice cream" but because it's such a typical answer, make it more interesting and maybe say, "Overly caffeinated coffee ice cream when it's almost completely melted and I can drink it like a frappuccino."  Be truthful of course.  Don't make up something not true even if it's creative.
I had a drama teacher who encouraged us to take simple little things, and use our creativity to turn them into something amazing even if it's scientifically stupid.  So that's what I'm getting at with this game.

Question 1.  What book/movie character represents you when you are acting evil?
Ever saw a movie where a character acts like a jerk, yet you know you would have done the same thing?

Question 2.  You have two months to live.  What do you do in those two months?

Question 3.  What is that thing you always have with you, that no one else thinks is a necessity but you feel lost without?

Question 4.  You are lost alone in the wilderness, and you know that this forest is infested with cannibals.  Who would you be most happy to have come and save you?

Question 5.  What smell or sound makes you happy?
Then think about why it makes you happy.
For example, I like the musty smell of cardboard boxes in a cold place.  It reminds me of being 5, playing in our scary Germany basement with my siblings right after we moved.

Question 6.  You have to choose between dancing alone on stage in front of hundreds of people, or start a conversation with your crush.  Which do you choose?
And why?

Question 7.  You suddenly find yourself tragically without a family and without a home.  If you could decide, who would you choose to adopt you as your new family?  Or would you want to live alone?

Question 8.  What smell or sound makes you sad?

Question 9.  What movie/book character represents you when you are being virtuous and heroic?

Question 10.  Is there something dorky that you think is cool and wish was socially acceptable?

Question 11.  What's better, a Chick-fill-a sandwich, or a fancy green nutritious lunch?
Hint:  The answer is always Chick-fill-a.

Question 12. If you could make up how the rest of your year would go, how would it go?

Question 13.  If you could choose your death, how would you die?
I'm sorry, but I must share an answer I received when my friend asked this to another friend.  He hummed and put his hand to his chin and then looked up and said, "I'd like to have Alzheimers and go sky diving."
It was a slightly disturbing response, but incredible how he came up with something so cleaver so fast.
Please forgive me.

Question 14.  How are you?
This might be the hardest question to answer honestly.  "Good" is not an answer.  That's not even grammatically correct!  (I only know this because I have a smart family).  Once, after a relaxation exercise, my drama teacher answered this question by saying, (in her New Zealand accent) "Well, everyone is going to say relaxed, so I'm going to say that I feel like the hum of a guitar string right after it's been plucked." And she beamed with pride.  I have to say I was blown away with this response.  (I'm not saying your answer has to be that poetic).

Question 15.  You were selected to fight in the Hunger Games.  What do you do?  Do you try to win?
Sorry.  This is a depressing question.  If you don't know the Hunger Games, don't even answer.

Question 16.  Why are you still reading this?
You have better things to do.  Go do some push-ups and come back.

Question 17.  As a school project, you are given a peace of paper, a pen, a dark room, and fifteen minutes to write anything you want.  What do you write?

Domino

I've been developing a new story, with new characters, and I'm really excited.
I've decided to call my book A Tangle in Reality, until I find something less-dumb.
Here's little about my main characters past so you aren't confused when you read his poem:

A Tangle in Reality is about a high school boy, Domino (Dominic Deep) who was born non-existent.  His parents never met until they died, and they were married as ghosts.  So Domino was born a...spirit...phantom...Thing.
Domino's parents wanted their son to experience real life on earth, like any normal Joe.  So Domino was put in the care of their still-living friends.
Domino grew up like any normal kid, only with restraints, being non-existent and all.  He can feel and touch, but nothing can feel or touch him.  He's just a soul with the image of a person.  (This makes transportation very difficult).  His best friend Sylvester Burn (Savy) used to help him with everything Domino couldn't do.  But Savy passed away when Domino was 13.
Domino never kept his non-existence a secret.  In fact, he was quite popular for it.  He's been on Fox News, magazines, You Tube, and has published a few poems he wrote.
Here's one of Domino's poems:

Humanage
I am a humanage,
You may have seem me before.
I am a mere mirage,
The stem of an apple core.
I know I lack a surface,
The word grows numb to my touch.
And when I leave,
I leave no trace,
But oh, I feel so much.
I feel the warmth and the stinging cold,
And the wind that challenges me to be bold.
I've been where death has crushed me to dirt,
So don't act afraid,
Don't act so alert,
Don't look at me like a mismatched sock,
I'm not a ghost and I'm not a rock.
I'm simply the humanage.

Next Up On Critical Me: Woodlawn and Pete's Dragon

Friends, I have a thing.  I've decided to call my movie reviews 'Critical Me'

Any hoo.
Here's a movie review on Pete's Dragon.

Pete's Dragon is about a boy who finds himself stranded in the woods, and lives several years with his dragon Eliot and his favorite kids book.  A family finds him, and Pete has to decide whether or not to stay with this family, or go back living in the woods with Eliot.
Pete's Dragon had a good amount of action and excitement, along with lots of emotion (and spectacular scenery).
Acting was high quality, even for young american actors (Minus bad crying skills).
Good dialogue with only a few cleshe Disney catch phrases.
The plot was weak, but they made up for it with good emotion.
Over all, I really enjoyed it.  It reminded me of the games I played with my self (I pretended I was lost and I lived with a dragon)  There were some moments where I was sure the movie would go going down-hill-cheesy, but it didn't.
On a scale from 1 to 10, I could give Pete's Dragon a 8 1/2

Next up, Woodlawn.
(I just had to have Sean Astin in the picture, even though he wasn't technically the main character.  But he was in it...So he was basically the main character....)
Woodlawn was about...Well, just about every foot ball movie ever created.  But this one was based off a true story, so I'll give it some leave.  It's about a foot ball team and couch who are converted to Christianity and how they struggle with the people around them and their faith.
One of the first thing I find important to mention though, is that the acting was good.  There are a very limited amount of good Christian actors, and a limited mount of people that are good actors that act in Christian movies.  But the acting was great.  And Sean Astin was in it.  I don't know if I mentioned that.
The dialogue wasn't spectacular, but it also wasn't as bad as it could have been.  It was even clever at times, and humorous.
The movie was a bit long, and there were many parts I didn't find totally necessary.
It had a good and basic gospel message, and had a good amount of emotion.  I liked it.  I also like Sean Astin.
On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give Woodlawn a 7 1/2.

How To Get Lost Like A Professional (A Step By Step Tutorial, By the Lostolologist)

When you have such a brain as mine, the expanse of knowledge is limitless.  But I think the thing my brain is best at performing, is getting lost.  You can call me an expert.  A Lostotologist.
I can get lost anywhere, and have gotten lost anywhere.
I've gotten lost in buildings.
Malls.
Zoos.
Conversations.
Houses.
Books.
Bathrooms.
Backstage.
Parking lots.
I've even gotten lost in my own closet.
So to bless you with my knowledge, here is step by step tutorial on how to get lost like pro, with a true story examples.

Step 1. Decided to go somewhere.  You don't even have to know where.
Example: Me: "Hay Marry Poppins!  I'm gonna walk to the Cafe today!"
Marry Poppins:  "It's five miles there and back.  And you're gonna get lost."
Me:  *Makes a fart noise* "Whaaaaat? That's crazy!!!"
But I decide to walk there with my friends, just in case.

Step 2.  Pay no attention to maps.  Maps are the devil.  In fact, clear your mind of any knowledge of maps.
Example:  Marry Poppins:  "Here's a map I so graciously wrote out for you so that if you find yourself alone, you wont get lost."
Me:  *Looks at the map Marry Poppins so graciously wrote out for me.  Nods and pretends to know how to read it* "Oh yeah!  Totally!  Great!"

Step 3.  Don't check twice.  Your goal is NOT to be prepared.
Example:  After a lovely walk, I have just gotten to the Cafe with my friends.
Me:  "I think I'll stay here a little longer and chill."
Friends:  "Will you be okay walking back?"
Me:  "Oh yeah!  I have a map!  I'll be totally good!"
Friends:  "Okay, just give us a call if you get lost!"
Me:  "Will do!"
I find a nice little table for myself and my caramel frap.  I draw and memorize Lord of the Rings monologues and have a lovely morning.  My Mom calls from the Cafe to ask if I'm there (probably thinking I got lost) but I say I'm fine and I'll be walking back soon.
I go out side and start on the road, feeling light and fluffy.  I look in my purse for my map, and it's not there.  My caramel frap turns to cheese in my stomach.

Step 4.  Confidence and stupidity!  Constupidity!  Embrace your Constupidity and keep walking.
Example:  I stand a few feet from the Cafe (which has a phone in which I can call mom and ask for directions).
Me:  Oh well!  It wasn't hard to get here.  It wont be hard to get back.
I strut down the road, showing off my cool.

Step 5.  As you reach a destination, pay ZIT attention to your surroundings.
Example:  I walk along, still showing my cool, but the two Dr. Elemis Potts are in complete disagreement.
Me 1: "That's not the road...None of this looks familiar!"
Me 2:  "Knock it off.  You're cool, remember?"
Me 1:  "Do we just keep going this way?"
Me 2:  "Of course we do!  What, you don't remember?"
Me 1:  "Nope.  Do you?"
Me 2:  "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss......................."
I walk for hours.  Me 2 keeps Me 1 going, singing Irish traveling songs.
Me 2:  "We're on the one Roooad, we're on the road to God knows wheeeeeere!"
But then I get to a cross roads, with a sign pointing different ways.  I bang my head on the pole.  I walk one way for a while to see if it's familiar.  I find the splattered remains of a ground hog, it's middle completely crushed, and it's eyes bulging halfway out it's head like a cartoon.  I hold the barf within, barfing would just lead me closer to starvation, and I had to keep what little I had.
Me 1:  "Wrong way."
I turn and walk back, and start down another way.  That way doesn't look familiar either.  I turn back.  I want to strangle something, so I strangle the sign pole.

Step 6.  Don't bring a phone.  Phones are terribly inconvenient when it comes to getting professionally lost.
Example:  Me 2:  "But hope still remains!  I can just call my buddies to come rescue me!  What a clever Joe I am!"
Me 1:  "We don't have a phone."
Me 2: *Makes sure cars aren't passing, and scrounges through purse* "God, please miraculously put a phone in my purse."
Me 1:  "I hate you sometimes."
Me 2:  "Hay, let's just go up to the big friendly looking cabin and ask for a phone!"
Me 1:  *Grabs pocket knife harder and reminds self that I'm professionally trained in kicking people.*
I go up to the house and peak through the window.  There's an old deaf lady inside who can't hear my knocking, but the old guy comes down and opens the door for me.  I ask to borrow a phone, and I call my mom.  No one answers.

Step 7.  Know nothing about your world.  Be oblivious.  Always.
Example:  Old Guy: "Could you give me the address you're looking for so I can give you directions?"
Me: "Um, I don't exactly know the address..."
I was like,

And they were like,

Old Guy:  "Maybe I can find it in the phone book.  What's the the name of the people that live there?"
Me: "...Pals?"
Old Guy: "What's the first name of the owner?"
Me:  "Uh......."
I see the look on the guys face, the look I get so often, that I've completely confused him and he's given up.  I thanked the nice people for their help, and hit the road.

Step 8. Congratulations!  You've just got yourself completely lost!  You can decide what you want to do from here, wonder down more roads, or just give up and walk back to where you started.
Example.  It's over.  I've gotten myself completely lost.  I was going to die of heat and starvation and end up like that poor rodent all over the road.  I walk back, finding nothing better to do. I've lost my cool, and now I feel like a hobo.  The only place I did know how to go to was the Cafe.  It had food.  And a phone.  With reception.

Step 9.  Inconvenience a lot of people.  This isn't totally necessary for getting lost, but it's adds for extra credit.
I still feel like a looser, but now I'm at peace, knowing exactly where I'm going.  A familiar car turns around and I hear a, "WHAT?!" It pulls up, and Mr. Zac rolls down the window.
Mr. Zac:  "Elemis?  What are you doing here?"
Me: "Oh, you know.  Taking a walk."
Mr. Zac:  "Where are you going?"
Me:  "To the Cafe."
Mr. Zac gives me a ride the rest of the way to the Cafe, and it feels so nice to sit.  I thank him, feeling like I should give him a tip or something.
I go back into the Cafe, only this time I'm sticky and sweaty and dusty and I stumble in like I got in some resulting match.  The employees look at me weird when I ask them for the phone, recognizing me from that morning.
Mom: "Hello?"
Me:  "Hi Mom."
Mom:  "Hi!  I'm so glad your back, you weren't picking up the phone!"
Me:  "I got lost.  I'm at the Cafe."
Mom:  *Gasp!*  "I'll come pick you up!"
My mom came and rescued me, and I felt like dirt inwardly and outwardly.

There ya go folks!  I hope I've inspired you to get out of your comfort zone, embrace your constupidity, and get professionally lost!  Please comment if you have any questions or concerns, I am a Lostolologist, and I'm available any time for interviews.
